Active, Reflective, Pragmatically, and Theoretical Learning Style Assignment
Goal: Student’s will understand and identify relevant psychological principles, concepts, and theories
Objective: Student’s will develop a story using images as a stimulus
Intention: Student’s will demonstrate their knowledge on how to apply psychological terminology within a story
Assignment:
Create a presentation that combines your ideas and responses to the visual stimulus that was shown in class into a story.
Use your notes from the images to include in your story, such as your feelings, and perception to the stimulus. The subject matter of your story will consist of a super hero. The content of the story talks about your super hero’s power, does his/her power come from the brain, his mind, his physical body or something else.
Use your notes from the elements of a story to develop your story. Your story is developed from through reflective processing and reflective learning.
In other words, your story examines the character of your super hero’s reaction to images from the visual stimulus. Your story should include 10 terms that support your story. (just don’t name the term…apply the meaning of the term) In addition to the terms(principles and concepts), use theories that support your the meaning of story/point of view. You may use other forms of expression and term to tell your story.
Presentation includes 20 -25 slides
Presentation points are based on:
- A well-focused story that is presented in a logical order
- Your story is supported by psychological terms and theories
- Presentation is 20 points
- Due March 6, 2017
