Individuals constantly change, as do the way individuals think and act.  A major influence of how individuals evolve is through social learning. Learning occurs when an individual construct meaning and understanding.  Your job is to create a theory that integrates new ideas and new ways of learning.   Remember, when a person learns new information it changes their perception, behavior, and their interaction with the environment.

 

Social Learning Assignment:

You are to create a power point  using 20-25.  Your power point involves:

• Your thoughts on the social learning project you participated in.  What social issue did you find most important?  Explain why.
• A discussion of the reflective process and reflective learning you gained from the social learning project
• Use a theory of your choice as the foundation to creating a new theory to solve your chosen social issue through the social culture and psychological perspective.
• Include in your new theory the terms of covert and overt behaviors, the influence of the brain, selective attention, the influence of stress, learned motives, and learning.
• Don’t forget to use other terms and theories you have learned to support your new theory.
• Conclude with what you learning about yourself and social issues
• Use (2) two references to support your theory.

 

Assignment will be emailed on April 28th.  An incentive will be given for students that email their assignments on April 21st.
