Active, Reflexive, Pragmatically, and Theoretical Learning Style Assignment

Intention: The student will demonstrate the process of critical thinking and creative thinking
Throughout the term we have learned the historical and contemporary perspectives of psychology. In addition, we have identified and explained concepts and theories that attempts to understand and explain human development, character traits of personality, environment and experience that shapes who we are….yet does those experiences really shape who we are?…. how can an individual’s character traits, development, environment, and experience can change their perception, which in turn changes their actions/behaviors.
Your final assignment consists of… writing a 3-4 page letter. The premise of your letter: you are a psychologist that want to give a presentation to a group of your colleagues, but first you must write a letter regarding the information you will be discussing. Thus, your letter will include the following information:
- An overview of your psychological philosophy
* Include a discussion of what concepts, theories and, techniques you believe in that helps individuals in need.
- An overview/information of your client challenges…../what is the reason you are seeing this client……../how long have your being seeing this client
- Discuss your psychological ideas and concepts that has helped your client
- Introduce and discuss your theory (include the name of your theory, what is your intention regarding your theory and how your theory/idea has helped your client’s with their struggle )
- * Include how your theory have changed your client’s behavior and thinking (use terms to support your position)
- * Areas of the brain that your theory targets
- * Support your theory with terminology
- Conclusion
