Objective: Students will use formal elements and principles of design to analyze their artwork
Intention: Students will be able to use the language of art to analyze an art composition
INTEGRATIVE PRESENTATION:
You are required to choose a work of art that was created by a woman artist. The composition/work of art you choose to discuss must come from an art gallery or an art museum
You will present the information of your composition in a 20 slide power point presentation that includes the following information:
* Name of the artist
* A brief bio of the artist
* Title of the composition
* When was the composition made
* Classification / type of art
* Type of medium or media that was used to create the art
* Subject matter
* Content
* Elements to support and emphasize the subject matter
* Principles used to strengthen the subject matter
*Conclusion consists of a discussion of why you chose the composition
